
Traffic passes over Phnom Penh’s Chroy Changvar Bridge last year.
The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has agreed to provide $30 million in grants for renovation of Chroy Changvar Bridge, with construction expected to begin in 2017, the Japan Times reported.
The bridge, which dates back to more than half a century, and also named Cambodia-Japan Friendship Bridge, was last rehabilitated in 1994 with Japanese grants.
