Cambodia has become the 144th member of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development’s (OECD) Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes, according to a press release.
Greenland, Madagascar and Haiti also joined the Global Forum at the same time, bringing the total number of members to 146.
The OECD platform strives to implement international standards for the exchange of tax and financial account information both automatically and upon request to fight international tax evasion and avoidance.
