ChildFund Cambodia is the representative office of ChildFund Australia – an independent and non‐religious international development organisation that works to reduce poverty for children in the developing world.   ChildFund Australia is a member of the ChildFund Alliance – a global network of 11 organisations which assists more than 14 million children and families in 63 countries. ChildFund Australia is a registered charity, a member of the Australian Council for International Development, and fully accredited by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade which manages the Australian Government’s overseas aid program.   ChildFund began working in Cambodia in 2007, and works in partnership with children, their communities and local institutions to create lasting change, respond to humanitarian emergencies and promote children’s rights. Its community development programs are in the in the areas of child protection and resilience, quality education, sustainable livelihoods, improved local governance, child nutrition, water and sanitation, and youth empowerment. Improving early grade reading performance through technology interventions, strengthening national community based child protection mechanisms and child‐focused emergency response are focus areas for the organisation.   ChildFund Cambodia implements a range of programs in collaboration with local civil society organisations, and in partnership the relevant ministries and government departments, in the rural provinces of Svay Rieng, Kratie, and Battambang Provinces, as well as Phnom Penh where the majority of the population are vulnerable, often the excluded or marginalised sections of society.   Currently, we are seeking for the national and potential candidates to fulfil the role of Project Officer – Child Protection (02 posts) to be based in Kratie Office and Svay Rieng Office respectively and Project Officer – Disaster Risks Reduction/Emergency Response and Livelihood (01 post) to be based in Kratie Office.   Qualifications & Experiences ­­­1. Project Officer – Child Protection ♦ Bachelor degree in social development or other related field; ♦ Solid experience in child protection and resilience areas providing support in term of child protection and resilience technical inputs; experience and knowledge in nutrition is an advantage ♦ Experience in project design, implementation, monitoring and learning experience, preferably in child protection project; ♦ Experience working with children, youths in rural community and government partners; and ♦ A highly self-motivated and committed person with a strong interest in learning.   2.
