One person died and 23 vehicles were destroyed in an inferno that engulfed the bus station of Virak Buntham, a well-known transport firm, in Phnom Penh's Chroy Changvar commune and district on July 30.
According a report from the National Police's fire prevention and rescue department, the fire started at 3:30pm and lasted until 5pm but did not spread to nearby houses.
It said experts were working to determine the cause of the blaze and the identity of the dead.
The report noted that 21 fire engines were sent to the scene to stamp out the blaze, spraying 250 cubic metres of water shuttled in on 63 tanker trucks.
