Nosy neighbours are usually a curse – that is, until your house is being burgled.

Three men were arrested on Monday after forcing their way into a couple’s house in Battambang’s Bavel district.

Once inside, the men threatened the couple with a gun, police said. The suspects were about to escape with some jewellery and about $5,000 cash when neighbours saw what was going on.

They alerted the police and the men were captured before leaving the house. DEUM AMPIL
