Three women were arrested in Banteay Meanchey’s Poipet town for running an illegal side lottery out of their house on Saturday.

Police raided the women’s illegal lotto den after neighbours complained that villagers kept crowding into the house.

While police were unable to catch any of the players during the raid, they managed to arrest the house’s owners, who allegedly admitted to opening an illegal lottery. They were sent to court. DEUM AMPIL
