Another drunk driver had a date with a street lamp yesterday morning in Prampi Makara district.

Police said the tipsy and very sleepy man was driving west on Sihanouk Boulevard when he failed to see the pole and ran right into it.

The driver reportedly hired a motodop and left the scene, leaving his car there. Police have impounded it and are awaiting the owner’s arrival.
