Singapore-based Miclyn Express Offshore Pte Ltd (MEO) announced that three of its vessels have been deployed offshore Cambodia under a firm one-year contract, Riviera Maritime Media (RMM) reported on May 10.

The contract covers anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessel Uniwise Advancer and fast crew/utility boats Uni Express 14 and Uni Express 25, and includes two six-month options for a permit operators to provide offshore crew change and supply from Sihanoukville Autonomous Port, the maritime, offshore and energy news outlet said.

Flying the Thai flag, Uni Express 14 was built in 2008 with overall length of 36m, beam of 7.6m and depth of 3.3m and equipped with three Cummins diesel engines giving a maximum speed of 24 knots (44.4km/h).

The Uni Express 25 was built in 2015 at Singapore's Penguin Shipyard to Flex-40X design with overall length of 40m, 100sqm clear deck area, 100 passenger seats, 60-tonne deck cargo capacity and 0.5-tonne-capacity Palfinger deck crane. Fitted with three Cummins main engines and three propellers, the boat can attain a top speed of 28 knots.

The Thai-flagged Uniwise Advancer was built in 2003 with 2 x 2,750BHP Deutz SBV 9M 628 (2022kW) main engines, two 10-tonne electro-hydraulic tugger winches, two five-tonne capstans, double-drum waterfall-type towing and anchor-handling winch, stern roller and one six-tonne telescopic deck crane, according to Riviera.

Meanwhile, MEO's 2008-built remotely-operated-vehicle (ROV) support vessel Miclyn Enterprise was reflagged from Panama to Indonesia in the second quarter of last year.

Before an intermediate docking survey in February this year, the ROV support vessel completed a pipeline touchdown monitoring project for an Indonesian subsea survey company.

The Class 2 Dynamic Positioning-rated vessel has overall length of 70.25m, beam of 16m and depth of 6m, and accommodation for 64.

Producing reliable power from 2000-2500kVA at 50Hz, its two Caterpillar 3516B diesel main engines enable an economic speed of 10 knots and maximum speed of 12 knots.

The Bureau Veritas- (BV) classed Miclyn Enterprise is currently working on a post-lay burial inspection project across multiple countries until the end of this year, Riviera said citing a social media post by MEO.
