Health Professional Education Specialist – (Local consultant)

The World Bank Cambodia Country Office is seeking to hire a local consultant to provide technical and operational support in the implementation of the “strengthening preservice education of health professionals” project (SPESPH, 2020 - 2026). The SPESHP project aims to improve governance of health professional education at the national level and strengthen the competency-based teaching and learning capacity in selected health training institutions.
Duties of the position include (i) providing operational support to an international technical advisory group, development partners meetings and oversea study visits, (ii) providing technical assistance in the development and implementation of work plans, (iii) monitoring and reporting on project implementation progress, and (iv) carrying out other tasks requested by project team leaders. The consultant will be based in Phnom Penh with occasional visits to provinces and other countries. The consultant will receive an initial contract for 150 working days as per World Bank rules with possible extension.
