CAVAC is Australia’s largest development program in Cambodia and promotes a commercially viable and resilient agriculture sector that contributes to inclusive economic growth. It does this by promoting profitable irrigated agriculture and an increasingly competitive agriculture industry. CAVAC is assisting the Supreme National Economic Council to conduct a feasibility study that will inform government and the private sector on decisions to invest in and establish an Agri-food Industrial Park (AIP) in Cambodia. As a part of the AIP feasibility study, CAVAC will conduct regulatory mapping that will analyse gaps on existing policies, laws, regulatory frameworks for specialized economic zone in and outside of Cambodia, and make recommendations on the regulatory framework to attract investment by the private sector.
