The Ministry of Health on April 11 reported three more deaths from Covid-19 and 157 new infections, all but one of which were linked to the February 20 community outbreak.

The imported case is a Nigerian who arrived via South Korea on April 9.

Among the 156 cluster cases, eight are Chinese nationals and the rest are Cambodian.

Phnom Penh still recorded the most cases at 141, followed by Koh Kong at eight, Svay Rieng at four, two in Takeo and one in Kandal.

The ministry also reported 72 recoveries linked to the February 20 outbreak.

The deceased patients, aged 36 to 72, are all Cambodian residing in the capital and the provinces of Kandal and Svay Rieng.

As of April 11, Cambodia had recorded a total of 4,238 Covid-19 cases with 2,052 receiving ongoing treatment and 29 confirmed deaths.
