The Ministry of Health on April 14 reported another 178 Covid-19 cases, all but one of which were linked to the February 20 community outbreak.

The ministry also recorded two new deaths, bringing the tally to 35 though it did not provide further details.

The imported case is a Cambodian returning migrant worker who arrived from Thailand on April 12.

The cluster cases include one Chinese and one Vietnamese nationals, with the rest being Cambodian.

Phnom Penh recorded the most cases at 149, followed by Kandal at 14, Preah Sihanouk at six, Svay Rieng at three, Kampong Speu at two, and one each in Takeo, Tbong Khmum and Siem Reap.

The ministry also reported 38 recoveries, all but one of which were linked to the February 20 outbreak.

As of April 14, Cambodia had recorded a total of 4,874 Covid-19 cases with 2,544 receiving ongoing treatment and 35 confirmed fatalities.
