Forty-six Cambodian deportees from the US are expected to arrive in the Kingdom later this month, according to a senior National Police official.

Korng Sokhorn, the director-general of the General Department of Identification, said on Sunday that officials from the department flew to the US to interview the deportees last month.

When asked about the health of the 46 deportees, he said: “Normally, some have good health but some do not. Few of them are getting sick, it is nothing unusual. Wait and see [what happens] on December 19.”
