Prime Minister Hun Sen on April 22 led a high-level delegation to attend the Asia-Pacific Water Summit (APWS) in Japan.

According to the premier, the APWS is held from April 23-24 under the theme “Water for Sustainable Development – Best Practices and the Next Generation”.

“Now, I am leading a high-level government delegation to attend the the 4th Asia-Pacific Water Summit (APWS) hosted in Kumamoto, Japan," he said in a Facebook post before his departure.

He said APWS aims to share with heads of states and government leaders concept, insights and best practices related to water issues to support policy-making aimed at building a resilient society and stimulating quality, inclusive, sustainable growth in the Asia-Pacific region post-pandemic.
