A man who was arrested on April 12 for posting a video on video-sharing app TikTok claiming that a number of people had died after getting vaccinated against Covid-19 has been sent to the Phnom Penh Municipal Court.

Municipal police spokesman San Sokseyha told The Post on April 13 that the man was caught at a construction site in Meanchey district.

«We arrested him so late in the evening and just managed to build a case file this morning," he said.

Asked about the charges against him, Sokseyha said: "The prosecutor only mentioned that he could be charged under Article 11 of the Covid-19 control law for obstructing the implementation of health measures. But that would be decided at the court's discretion."
