The Ministry of Health on April 25 recorded the country’s 74th Covid-19 fatality and another 616 transmission cases linked to the February 20 community outbreak.

The latest three deceased patients are all Cambodians aged 57 to 78.

Among the 616 cluster cases are three Chinese nationals with the rest being Cambodians.

Phnom Penh still ranked first with the most cases recorded at 546, followed by Kandal at 24; Preah Sihanouk at 20; Prey Veng at eight; Takeo at seven; two each in Kampong Chhnang, Kampong Thom, Svay Rieng, Mondulkiri and Koh Kong.

The ministry also reported 190 recoveries, all but one of which were linked to the February 20 outbreak.

As of April 25, Cambodia had recorded a total of 9,975 Covid-19 cases, with 6,495 undergoing treatment and 75 confirmed fatalities.
