Another bag snatch, another violent mob

The relative comfort of Siem Reap province’s Svay Leu district police station must have been paradise compared to the treatment a bag snatcher got from an angry mob on Friday.

Cops say the man’s victim shouted out for help from bystanders after he pulled away her purse and made a break for it.

The citizenry had him cornered, however, and used their fists to show him what they thought of him before handing him over to the boys in blue, who made sure the satchel was given back to its proper owner.
