Digital attack results in physical attack in capital

Digital insults had real-world consequences for a capital club-goer who was clubbed on the head for allegedly mocking someone’s wife on Facebook.

Leading his friend group into a Choam Chao commune disco on Wednesday, the 24-year-old was ambushed by another group of 10 for his online activities, despite claiming he had previously sold his mobile device.

The aggressors lashed out with wine bottles then vacated the scene. Luckily, the dizzy dude’s friends were already on hand to see him off to hospital and report the attack to police.
