Perhaps hoping their video would go viral, two Sky Angkor Airline employees posted a fake news story on Facebook about a plane crash and were arrested in Siem Reap on Saturday.

After word of the phoney stream got around the two were hauled to the station and admitted guilt.

A message was sent out revealing the hoax, and the pranksters were freed after they signed a promise to be truthful on social media from now on.
