Fire water fans the flames of alco-arson

A healthy helping of booze stoked the flames of one man’s fiery temper on Monday in Siem Reap, culminating with him burning his own house.

The alcoholic arsonist became more agitated as he got more inebriated, eventually striking his wife before setting their home ablaze.

Police reported that about 50 percent of the house was damaged in the intoxicant-inspired fire.

The felonious firebug was taken into police custody on Tuesday, while his fed-up wife demanded further legal action.
