Impatient barista may have had too much coffee

A self-fulfilling prophecy came true on Saturday when capital authorities in Choam Chao commune arrested a barista for attacking his father just before calling in for a day off.

Asking to borrow his pop’s mobile to tell the café he needed a rest day, the 20-year-old got impatient and came swinging fists.

Dear old dad sustained serious injuries and neighbours saw him off to the hospital while police were called to bring the crabby coffeemaker to the station for charges.
