A Kandal province thief chose to take his sweet time and paid for it when he was caught by a mob on Saturday.

Police say a 27-year-old woman briefly left her home, then came back to find someone inside collecting her valuables.

She called out to neighbours who assembled lickety-split to catch the crook. When he was questioned by police he admitted to breaking into the same house last month and stealing three phones.
