Observant security guards thwart robbery

Two thieves came out much worse after leaving their car at the scene where they were trying to steal $30,000 in Phnom Penh’s Sen Sok district on Saturday.

Police say the men came to an apartment complex and took a stack of cash from a room before security guards noticed them leaving and started asking questions.

Feeling the pressure, they dropped the dough and fled on foot. The money was returned to its owner and police impounded the skittish sneak-thieves’ ride while they launch a search for them.
