A Phnom Penh woman was more than happy to chase down bag snatchers but got some assistance from a police road block in Russey Keo commune on Sunday.

Heading to Aeon Mall, the 24-year-old was tailed along the way before two men swerved close and came away with her purse.

She shouted for help and pursued the bandits who were shortly cornered by officers parked nearby.

The duo was arrested and the stolen satchel was returned.
