An alleged sexual predator was nabbed in Banteay Meanchey on Saturday following a complaint from his victim.

The 19-year-old woman told police that her 33-year-old acquaintance lured her from Siem Reap to Banteay Meanchey by promising to buy her a phone and a beauty salon business.

When she found out he was lying and was only interested in sex, however, the victim complained to police.

The suspect was arrested and reportedly confessed to the ploy.
