Phnom Penh investigative judges yesterday charged a brother and sister with intentional violence for allegedly attacking an Electricite du Cambodge official with a samurai sword.
Police said the EDC inspector went to the duo’s residence in Boeung Tompun on January 15 to measure power usage. The siblings accused the official of corruption.
He told them to cut out the insults, leading to a heated exchange – the duo allegedly grabbed the sword and injured his right hand.
