Among the key exports, made-in Cambodia garments, top the list.

Two women’s timber-smuggling scheme fell apart when forestry officials found their boat in Kampong Cham province’s Koh Sotin district on Sunday.

The suspects were using it to carry 250 pieces of wood along the Mekong to sell elsewhere.

Though they moved under the cover of darkness, they hadn’t considered that rangers could still hear the boat’s noise and they easily located it.

Both the evidence and the suspects are now at the police station.
