A money exchange operator showed some serious gumption when he tussled with a gunman trying to rob him in Battambang yesterday.

The assailant had burst into the man’s house presumably expecting an easy heist, only to be met with fierce resistance from the uncowed cash counter.

The sounds of their scuffle drew a crowd of neighbours, prompting the hapless crook to flee the scene empty handed.
