The American Math Competition (AMC) is now open for public registration for students from Grade 4 to Grade 11.

The AMC will take place on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Westview Cambodian International School.

The rigorous American Math Competition is conducted through the NWEA MAP test, which is recognised by many well-known international schools across 145 countries worldwide.

This is the third year of the AMC, with students from 20 international schools having joined the competition.

Contestants will be required to bring a laptop running Microsoft Windows (not a MacBook), which they will use to complete the assessment questions on the day of the competition.

Non-Westview students are also eligible to join and be able to win prizes such as:

•     A scholarship to study at Westview Cambodian International School;
•     A $500 voucher to register for a study tour abroad.

Important dates:

•     Registration will be open to all students from Grade 4 to Grade 11;
•     Registration will close at 4pm on January 11, 2024;
•     The early bird registration fee from November 20 to December 25, 2023 is $35;
•     The late registration fee from December 26, 2023 to January 11, 2024 is $50;
•     Register before December 26, 2023 and share the Facebook post publicly to get free registration;
•     The date of the competition is Saturday, January 20, 2024.
