The Foreign Trade Bank of Cambodia (FTB) on Wednesday opened a new branch in Kandal province, bringing the total number of outlets in the country to 14, it said. The new branch is located in Takhmao town.

FTB general manager Dith Sochal said the bank now has a presence in Phnom Penh and Kandal, Preah Sihanouk, Siem Reap, Battambang and Kampong Cham provinces.

He said Takhmao is a town with a high market potential due in part to its proximity to the capital.

“The new FTB branch in Takhmao town offers a wealth of financial services and products to our customers in Kandal province, including deposits and local and international transfers,” he said.

Sochal said the bank will continue to enhance financial inclusiveness, attract investment to the Kingdom and contribute to improving the people’s living standards through innovative products and services.

“FTB continues to expand its product offerings and distribution channels through the latest technology and financial services.

“The bank continues its work to improve its service and contribute to the development of Cambodian society,” he said.

Sochal said FTB has been operating in the Kingdom for more than 40 years. Its assets are valued at $1.5 billion.
