The Cambodian Hotels Association (CHA) in collaboration with leading marketing company Linx International held the “Stay Informed, Stay Connected” networking night at the Himawari Hotel in the capital last Wednesday. After introductions by Edward Tiu from Singapore (Cambodia) International Academy (SCIA) and the Linx International team, CHA president Somethearith Din made an opening speech. Eyes then turned to the stage as HE Kim Sereiroath, deputy secretary-general of NCCA at the Ministry of Tourism, Pauline Tan from Sing-Specialists Medical Centre and Mediapark CEO Dilip Khumar held a panel discussion. More than 70 people from the Kingdom’s hospitality sector and other businesses connected to the industry enjoyed music, food and entertainment as they discussed the future of the sector, explored new trends and shared valuable information first hand. At the first networking in Cambodia of such scope, leading telco Smart Axiata showcased its new tourism programme, as booths from other partners exhibited their range of quality products.
