CP ALL (Cambodia) Co Ltd, an indirect subsidiary of Thailand-based CP ALL, on Tuesday opened the Kingdom's first 7-Eleven store in Phnom Penh’s Chroy Changvar district.

CP All operates the chain of convenience stores under the 7-Eleven trademark in Thailand.

CP ALL (Cambodia) managing director Mr. Chomrom Jenchai said the company entered into a master franchise agreement with 7-Eleven Inc last year to operate stores in the Kingdom.

The opening of the Chroy Changvar outlet was presided over by Ministry of Commerce representative HE Tor Pila, Minister Counsellor (Commercial) Jirawut Suwana-arj at the Royal Thai Embassy in Phnom Penh and Cambodia-Thailand Friendship Association Vice-president Dr. Supachai Verapuchong.

“The opening of the first 7-Eleven store in Cambodia today is an important symbol of friendship and good relations between the two countries, both at the government and people level. Also, it is the starting point for CP All Group to enhance the quality of life of Cambodians by delivering quality products and services,” said Mr. Chomrom.

The opening of the first 7-Eleven store in the Kingdom is a significant milestone as it reflects CP ALL's aim to enter into the growing ASEAN market, as well as highlighting its strength in promoting trade and services between Thailand and Cambodia.

Moreover, the move is in line with the company's “Giving and Sharing Opportunities” aspirations.

CP All Cambodia plans to open further 7-Eleven stores in several other locations this year to keep pace with the ever-changing retail sector.

The Chroy Changvar outlet offers a selection of over 2,000 quality products – including the signature Slurpee frozen carbonated drink, as well as freshly brewed beverages under the brand ALL Café – as choice for customers.

New products will be developed in the future to meet Cambodians' tastes and demands, all with highest satisfaction for customers.
