On July 11, the Japanese International School of Phnom Penh (JISPP) held its official opening ceremony and signed a cooperation agreement with Dai-ichi Life Cambodia to promote the quality of early childhood education.
This partnership marks another milestone for Dai-ichi Life Cambodia’s 5th anniversary celebrations in the country, underscoring its commitment to the Cambodian community.
The event was attended by H.E. Dr. Hang Chuon Naron, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Youth and Sport, H.E. Atsushi Ueno, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Kingdom of Cambodia, Mr. Takao Sabato, Deputy CEO of Dai-ichi Life Cambodia, and Mr. Daiki Watanabe, Chairperson of JISPP and Think! Think! Cambodia.
“We believe that investing in early education can create a more innovative future generation, which aligns perfectly with our group’s purpose – Partnering with you to build a brighter and more secure future,” said Sabato.
“Through JISPP’s Japanese-quality curriculum, we can empower the next generation with the skills they need to thrive, especially in this fast-changing world,” he added.
Dai-ichi Life Cambodia is proud to join the Japanese community in Cambodia to co-operate with JISPP. Their program emphasises the development of non-cognitive skills during early childhood, which are fundamental for the kids’ future success. By instilling these skills at a young age and through interactive learning, JISPP offers a unique and valuable educational experience for Cambodian children.
“We are grateful for our long-term partnership with Dai-ichi Life Cambodia, especially with our goal of creating a positive, long-term impact through early childhood education. This collaboration will help amplify our mission, and bring Japanese-quality programmes to help more Cambodian children achieve a brighter future,” said Watanabe.
