The first edition of the Audi international Jazz Festival of Phnom Penh in 2015 was a great success, it gave us the chance to indulge our ears with world-class artists bringing an exhilarating feel of sophistication and progressiveness to the Kingdom of Wonder. This year the Audi International Jazz Festival is proud to welcome three international artist with very different backgrounds from separate musical spheres. Musicians are coming from Europe because they were charmed by the Cambodian musical scene that was revealed last year, and they are now including Phnom Penh in their international tours. Four homegrown pop artists; Ma Champanha, Sophia Kao, Jimmy Kiss and Nikki Nikki, will bring their Cambodian sensitivity to an exquisite night at the Blackbox Theatre. This year’s Audi International Jazz Festival Phnom Penh will start on December 12 at the Audi Showroom with Vladimir Cetkart Quartet. On December 13, Hotel Raffles Le Royal will host a dinner concert with Yutaka Shiina, Junji Hirose and Yuji Ito. December 14 at Blackbox Theatre, International School of Phnom Penh will perform with Cambodian artists Ma Champanha, Sophia Kao, Jimmy Kiss, and Nikki Nikki. The final show will be on December 15 at Hotel Raffles Le Royal featuring Sara Lazarustet. Photos by Chhim Sreyneang
