KOI Thé is proud to announce the overwhelming success of their blood donation drive, hosted recently at the new 2004 street branch in collaboration with the National Blood Transfusion Center under the theme “You are the Hero. Your Blood, Their Life”.
The event drew a remarkable response from the community, with over 900 volunteers from over 10 countries stepping up to donate. Out of this tremendous turnout, 749 donors, a lot of them first timers, were deemed eligible, setting a new national record for the Most Blood Donors in a Single Day.
Madam Ma Ya Fen, the founder and Chairwoman of KOI Thé Group, participated and donated blood for the first time in her life, praising the spirit of the event and expressing heartfelt support for the campaign.
“I am truly inspired by the generosity and compassion shown by everyone who contributed to this cause. It is a testament to the kindness and strength of the people of Cambodia,” said Madam Ma.
Also in attendance was Oknha Khorn Chhundara, CEO of KOI Thé, who expressed his gratitude to all the donors and the team at the National Blood Transfusion Center for their hard work.
"We setup this event to make it more convenient for people to donate blood. We selected September 18th because it is the first day of Pchum Ben, symbolically in line with the Cambodian spirit of kindness. This impactful community event will make the launching day of our new branch more memorable and meaningful," said Oknha Khorn Chhundara.
He challenged other institutions and companies to beat this record so that more awareness and collection of blood donation can be achieved.
This record-setting event underscores KOI Thé's commitment to making a positive impact on society and supporting vital health initiatives. The blood donated will go a long way in helping medical teams save lives across the country.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the volunteers, donors, and partners who helped make this event a groundbreaking success. Together, we have proven that every drop counts, and every donation can save a life.
