Legend Cinema will celebrate its 13th anniversary on July 7 at its Olympia branch, a state-of-the-art, spacious facility built to the highest standards. The rapid growth and expansion of our cinemas from 1 to 12 locations over the past 13 years is a testament to our strong progress in providing film services and distribution and has significantly influenced the industry. 

Today, Legend Cinema’s branches include 10 locations in Phnom Penh and one each in the provinces of Siem Reap and Sihanoukville. Our theaters include Regular, Premium, Kids, Giant, ScreenX and VIP (Diamond and Gold Class) Halls, offering the ultimate in luxury and privacy.

Corporate social responsibility campaign

For this special occasion, Legend organized an impactful campaign “Set of Hope” to give back to the community, including a fundraising initiative for the Coconut School to help needy children in Kirirom. The campaign, which ran from April 19 to June 27, raised a total of 6 million riel (about $1,500). 

The team delivered these funds to the school on June 28, with 100 participants, including the Legend team, registered fans on social media and various content creators and key opinion leaders (KOLs). Additionally, on June 1, we warmly welcomed children from the school to Legend Olympia Cinema, coinciding with International Children's Day, allowing them to visit the cinema, the Kids Lounge and a large auditorium.

Community engagement and promotion

In addition, design enthusiasts have the opportunity to showcase their work through the "Popcorn Box Contest", which has about 250 registered participants. The team will carefully select the winner, who will receive prizes worth $1,200, and their design will be displayed on Legend Cinema popcorn boxes across all branches. 

Another special program is "Watch to Win, Eat to Win," a lucky draw where customers who spend a minimum of $13.13 per invoice stand a chance to win prizes such as an iPhone 15 Pro Max, LG devices, KIESLECT Smart Watches, PANDORA products, free stay coupons from Summer Bay Beach Club & Cabins and more. 

Additionally, Legend Cinema fans can win premium items through the "13th Anniversary Selfie to Win" contest simply by taking a photo with the 13th anniversary backdrop at any of Legend's 12 branches. 

A total of 13 winners will each receive 13 3D movie vouchers and a 13th anniversary tote bag and water bottle. 

Legend Cinema will also offer the “GOLDEN PASS,” a limited-edition card available only once a year, priced at $13.13. The pass includes up to 5 movie tickets (5-in-1) [SD1] for 2D movies, valid for a full month at all branches.

Anniversary gala night

Legend Cinema will be hosting their anniversary gala night on July 7 to commemorate their 13th year with distinguished guests, partners, teams and fans, under the slogan “Evolution of Cinema.” The event will include a presentation on the development of cinemas in the country, special performances by artists and a fun lucky draw at the end.
