Phnom Penh Autonomous Port (PPAP) is currently recruiting candidates for two key director roles on its Board of Directors for its 9th mandate, a 3-year term. PPAP, a listed state-owned enterprise, serves as Cambodia’s international river port, playing dual roles as both the port authority and operator. The election for these prestigious positions will take place at the PPAP's 10th General Shareholders Meeting in May 2025.
PPAP is seeking an Independent Director to join its Board, with a focus on enhancing the company’s performance. Applicants for this role must be at least 35 years old, hold a Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance, and have at least 3 years of relevant experience. Independence from the company and government connections is required, as is the ability to serve on committees like the audit committee. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong leadership skills and a commitment to corporate governance.
Additionally, PPAP is recruiting a Non-Executive Director to represent private shareholders. Applicants for this position should meet similar requirements, including a Master’s degree or equivalent in economics, management or a related field, and at least 3 years of relevant experience in economics, management or logistics. This role calls for individuals with leadership ability and a commitment to the long-term goals of PPAP and its shareholders, as well as the capacity to make strategic decisions that will ensure the port’s continued success and effectiveness.
