One lucky Poipet resident has walked away with one million riel after buying a single Campools Lottery "Gold Bag” scratchcard for only 2,000 riel.

And on March 5, 2023, Campools Lottery handed over the one million riel cash prize to a delighted Soeun Chantha, from Banteay Meanchey province's Poipet commune, in Ochrov district.

Chantha said she couldn't believe her luck, having never expected to win a million riel when she bought the Gold Bag scratchcard for 2,000 riel.

Campools Lottery is a legal lottery operator licensed by the Cambodian government to operate 6/49, five-digit, six-digit and seven-digit lottery formats.

It also runs smaller prize two-digit, three-digit and four-digit games, as well as scratchcards.

Campools Lottery scratchcards offer the chance to win immediately, with prize money of up to 168 million riel (around $42,000).
