Smart Axiata has once again been recognised for its stellar performance, receiving the Cambodia Mobile Data Company of the Year and Cambodia Mobile Services Company of the Year awards for 2022from international market research firm Frost and Sullivan.

This is the fifth consecutive year the Kingdom’s leading mobile network operator has received the awards.

“Smart Axiata’s continued success in the Cambodian mobile services space is mainly attributed to its comprehensive solutions portfolio, strategic partnerships, excellent infrastructure and customer-centric approach.

"One of the company’s underlying strengths is the ability to identify and address challenging customer needs through top-notch services, thereby optimising the customer experience and consolidating its leadership position in the market,” Frost and Sullivan said.

The awards ceremony was held virtually and streamed live on Frost and Sullivan’s YouTube channel on December 7.

Smart Axiata acting CEO FeiruzIkhwan expressed his gratitude for the recognition at the ceremony.

“As this is our fifth consecutive year winning these awards.We take it as strong affirmation that we have delivered the best mobile service experiences to our customers, created positive impacts and effectively enabled people’s daily lives.

These are the latest in a long list of awards and recognitions Smart Axiata has received over the years for its advanced network capabilities, financial performance and innovative offerings.

Smart Axiata was also named Best Telecommunications Company Cambodia and Best CSR Company Cambodia by Global Banking and Finance from 2015 to 2021, as well as Leading Company in Building Community Resilience Cambodia in 2021.

It has also been recognised with a Gold Award for Tax Compliance from the Kingdom’s General Department of Taxation, which lauded Smart– the first ever mobile operator to receive the honour– for its exemplary practices and meeting its tax obligations under Cambodian law.

Smart was honoured as Best Contributor to the Capacity Building, Research and Development Fund (CBRD) by the Cambodian Ministry of Post and Telecommunications in 2019, and Best Emerging Market Operator in 2018 by Telecom Asia.
