As part of its commitment to children’s education, Acteus Group – through its corporate social responsibility program ‘Acteus Smiles’ – had the privilege in supporting the Kdey Run Primary School in Takeo province insetting up new classrooms for the 2024 academic year. This donation marks a significant turning point in the school's efforts to provide quality education to the children of this region.
The half-day program was attended by Acteus representatives Pierre Combedimanche, Tola Peng, Parit Chutharattanakul and Qhaleeda Ibrahim.
The event was celebrated with 344 students and their parents, as well as the school's director and teachers, among other attendees.
Located within the Khvav commune of Traing district, Kdey Run Primary School extends its educational outreach to children hailing from the neighboring villages of Dkey Run, Pongro, and Thnal Bat.
With the number of children enrolling from kindergarten to Grade 6 increasing, the school is expanding to accommodate the new students and provide a conducive environment for the next generations to learning.
