Sunrise Japan Hospital Phnom Penh on October 29celebrated its seventh anniversary of providing outstanding medical services in Cambodia.
The event – attended by CEO KAMATA Keiya, Clinical Director Dr. OKAWADA Manabu, hospital management, doctors and staff, as well as partners and other distinguished guests – took place at Sunrise Japan Hospital Phnom Penh in the capital's ChroyChangvar district.
Keiya Kamata expressed"immense pride" at the medical facility reaching the significant milestone.

During the event, various informationbooths showcased the services offered by Sunrise Japan Hospital Phnom Penh.
Participants had the opportunity to visit each booth such as ACLEDA, Getz Pharma, Japan Eye Hospital, Malis Dental Clinic, NTT, and Brown, andmeet the doctors and medical team to discuss pressing health issues such as nutrition,exercise,oral care and wound care to post-stroke patients, as well as strokes, persistent headaches, non-communicable"lifestyle" diseases,stomach and colon cancer, and manymore.
There were alsointeractiveactivities for families and childrento enjoy, including Baby Art Photos and VR Games, with a variety of food, drinks, and souvenirsof the event alsoon offer.
Since its establishment in 2016, Sunrise Japan Hospital Phnom Penh has provided outpatient and inpatient treatment through four centres – Emergency; Stroke and Neurosurgery; Gastroenterology; and General Health.
Sunrise Japan Hospital Phnom Penh provides high-level Japanese-style medical services in neurosurgery and other fields, as well as laboratory and rehabilitation services.
The medical facility boasts two surgery rooms – an intensive care unit (ICU) and a high care unit (HCU) – 50 beds and two ambulances, withstate-of-the-art equipment including CT, MRI,X-rayand angiography machines available.
In addition to these medical centres, Sunrise Japan Hospital inaugurated a new Pediatric Center in 2018, while it opened the Gynecology Centerin September 2020, with the Obstetrics Center launched that November to meet the medical needs of all ages in Cambodia.
This expansion hasbrought the number of centresto a total of seven –the Emergency Center; Stroke & Neurosurgery Center; Gastroenterology Center; General Internal Medicine Center; Health Checkup Center; Pediatric Center; and Obstetrics & GynecologyCenter.
