At the University of Central Missouri (UCM), “Redefining What’s Possible” is more than just a slogan. It is a commitment to creating life changing opportunities for students around the world.
That mission is at the heart of a delegation visit to Cambodia this week, where UCM President Dr. Roger Best and university leaders are building partnerships and expanding educational opportunities for Cambodian students.
UCM is already a top choice for international students, with more than 3,500 students from around the world. It is the number one university in Missouri for international enrolments and the second most popular destination in the US for international students seeking Master's Degrees.
The delegation includes leaders from UCM’s College of Health Science and Technology and Early Childhood Education Program, who are meeting with representatives from the Ministry of Education, university officials and other institutions.
UCM is proud to announce new partnerships with the Institute of Technology of Cambodia and Pannasastra University, strengthening opportunities for student exchanges, research and scholarships. UCM also works closely with Cambodian high schools, ensuring students have a clear path to studying in the US.
At UCM, redefining what is possible means offering a high-quality education at an affordable cost. Cambodian students benefit from strong academic programs, hands on learning and strong career opportunities. The low cost of living in Missouri makes studying in the US more accessible, while the safe and welcoming community of Warrensburg provides a supportive environment. Along with scholarships and dedicated support services UCM is committed to helping students succeed.
This visit reflects UCM’s long term commitment to empowering Cambodian students and expanding global partnerships.
