Westview Cambodian International School, an extension of the Learning Jungle Cambodia secondary school programme, had its official launching ceremony on June 29.
Presided over by H.E. Hang Chuon Naron, the Minister of Education Youth and Sport, the event was held in conjunction with the Learning Jungle Kindergarten school graduation and a students’ performance which served to raise funds for the Kantha Bopha hospital.
Westview Cambodian International School prides itself on its international standards which allow its graduates to compete globally.
The school offers its International Secondary school programme that is built on the American Common Core Standards (ACCS) – a world-renowned standard of education. And, it is merged with Khmer language, history and culture into a single curriculum for grades 7 to 12.
To date, the Learning Jungle Cambodia community has donated more than $30,000 to Kantha Bopha Children’s Hospital to save lives that are in need of medical treatment. photo by heng chivoan
