The main purpose of the conference was to reflect on the past year's accomplishments and set the stage for future endeavours. Mr. Cheol Su Sonh, CEO of Woori Bank (Cambodia) Plc., delivered an inspiring keynote address, emphasising the bank's dedication to providing exceptional financial services and fostering strong relationships with customers.

The event also featured insightful presentations on the bank's strategic initiatives for 2025, focusing on enhancing customer experience, expanding digital banking services and promoting efficient financial practices. Woori Bank (Cambodia) Plc. has achieved many significant milestones in the 30 years it has operated in the Kingdom. Beginning with a funding program in 1990, it earned an official license to operate as a microfinance institution in 2004. The license was updated in 2011 to become a micro-deposit taking financial institution, which then merged with Woori Finance Cambodia Plc. in 2020 to broaden its network.
Additionally, the National Bank of Cambodia approved a commercial bank license in November 2021. It was officially launched in January 2022, enabling Woori Bank (Cambodia) Plc. to provide the market with full-fledged commercial bank’s products and services.
