The World Bank Cambodia Country Office is seeking to hire a local consultant to provide coordination, monitoring and supervision support in the implementation of the “strengthening preservice education of health professionals” project (SPESPH). The SPESHP project aims to improve governance of health professional education at the national level and strengthen the competency-based teaching and learning capacity in selected health training institutions.
Duties of the position include (i) providing communication and coordination support to missions, field trips, retreats, meetings; (ii) monitoring and reporting on project implementation progress and project events; (iii) providing operational support to an international technical advisory group, development partners meetings and knowledge exchanges, (iv) providing technical assistance in the development and implementation of work plans, and (v) carrying out other tasks requested by project team leaders. The consultant will be based in Phnom Penh with occasional visits to provinces and other countries. The consultant will receive an initial contract for 150 working days as per World Bank rules with possible extension.
