In a show of solidarity and compassion, Blackpink’s Lalisa Manobal, the K-pop sensation, extended her support to the beneficiaries of Pour un Sourire d’Enfant (PSE) in Cambodia.

The superstar conveyed a heartfelt message to the young minds aiming for a brighter future, leaving a lasting impact on both PSE and her devoted fan base in the Kingdom.

In her message, Lisa expressed gratitude for the endeavours of all the young individuals involved in the PSE program.

“I extend my warmest greetings to all my friends and fans in Cambodia, particularly to the children and young people under the care of PSE in Phnom Penh,” the message read.

Lisa acknowledged the dreams and aspirations of the young individuals, highlighting the significance of persevering through life’s challenges and never abandoning one’s aspirations.

Her words of encouragement resonated, fostering hope and determination among the recipients to overcome obstacles and reach for the stars.

“I faced numerous ups and downs during my training years, but consistently overcame them by embracing strength and maintaining a positive outlook on life,” she continued.

Lisa’s connection with PSE extends beyond mere words of support. Her father, Marco Bruschweiler, visited PSE in Phnom Penh and actively engaged with students at the NGO’s hospitality and tourism school.

During his visit, Bruschweiler, a chef, prepared lunch for the students, fostering camaraderie and showcasing his culinary expertise. The students not only enjoyed a meal but also had the opportunity to interact with a world-renowned chef, inspiring them to pursue the culinary arts.

The K-pop celebrity personally contributed to one of PSE’s fundraising campaigns, illustrating her commitment to empowering the youth of Cambodia.

Her generous gesture exemplifies her dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

PSE, an NGO committed to providing education, vocational training and assistance to disadvantaged children and youth, conveyed their appreciation for Lisa’s backing. They shared her message of hope and unity that transcends borders with their students and her fans in the nation.

In acknowledgment of Lisa’s support, PSE expressed sincere gratitude, hoping to host her at their centre in Phnom Penh in the future.

“If Lisa visits us one day and witnesses our activities, it would be a positive experience. While her father was here, they also exchanged text messages,” Khun Prak, PSE’s communications officer, told The Post.

Lisa’s benevolent gesture resonates not only with PSE but also deepens the connection between the international superstar and her admirers in Cambodia.
