Angelina Jolie's First They Killed My Father depicts some of the atrocities committed during the Pol Pot regime, including mass killings, forced labour and the conscription of children as soldiers into the Revolutionary Army of Kampuchea.
At the film's world premiere in Siem Reap, The Post spoke to some of those who lived through the period about what it felt like to see parts of their own stories reflected on camera.
