Hun Sen welcomes improved relations with Dominica

Prime Minister Hun Sen welcomed an agreement between Cambodia and the Commonwealth of Dominica that will introduce visa exemptions for diplomats from both countries.

Hun Sen met with Commonwealth of Dominica foreign minister Vince Henderson at the Peace Palace on March 24 during the latter’s March 22-24 visit to the Kingdom.

A meeting came a day after Henderson met with Ouch Borith, secretary of state at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. During the meeting, a visa exemption agreement for diplomats from both countries was signed.

Henderson told Hun Sen that his visit intended to strengthen bilateral and multilateral relation between the two countries. Bilaterally, the cooperation focuses mainly on the agriculture sector, according to Hun Sen’s social medial channel.

In response, Hun Sen said that he welcomed increased the cooperation between the two countries, with the visa exemption agreement a strong beginning.

“Prime Minister Hun Sen also requested that the foreign minister look into the possibility of strengthening cooperation in other sectors such as tourism,” the post added.
