Cambodia's INTERPOL National Central Bureau (NCB) and relevant police units held a bilateral meeting with a delegation from the INTERPOL General Secretariat from April 19-21 to enhance cooperation.

The meeting was led by Cambodia's NCB chief Phauk Kolkomar, who was accompanied by police officials from the Ministry of Interior's departments of anti-cybercrime and anti-terrorism and transnational crimes. Also in attendance were officials from the General Department of Immigration and the police academy.

During the meeting, Kolkomar made a presentation to show a new trend of crimes in Cambodia and the NCB's success built on bilateral cooperation and multilateral collaboration with other INTERPOL member countries.

Kolkomar also welcomed a planned visit of the INTERPOL General Secretariat coordinator for Asia and South Pacific to Cambodia, who will inspect the standard, quality and the support for a data storage system known as I-24/7 Dashboard, as well as other capacity building programmes.

Kolkomar told relevant police units to send any requests they may have relating to the I-24/7 Dashboard or capacity building early in order for him to prepare and submit them to the INTERPOL General Secretariat.
