Cambodia and Australia have agreed to continue strengthening their cooperation on public administration reform in Cambodia, according to a press statement released by the Ministry of Civil Service on September 2.
The decision was made during a meeting between Australian ambassador to Cambodia Pablo Kang and civil service minister Prum Sokha on September 1 at the ministry.
The cooperation will support the national public administration reform programme, the drafting of the public services law, leadership and innovation training for public servants, and sustainable work planning during the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to the statement, both parties believe that good cooperation on public administration reform will strengthen the relationship and uphold mutual interests that will benefit both countries.
